We charge a two hundred fifty dollar minimum fee for all stump grinding projects. Costs beyond the minimum are calculated per inch based on the widest diameter of the stump at ground level. Complete wood chip removal and brush clearing are available for an additional charge.
Do I need to be home for the service?
You do not need to be home for the actual stump grinding as long as we have clear access to the yard. However, we prefer you to be present for the initial quote.
What happens to the wood chips after grinding?
We push the resulting wood chips back into the stump hole to create a flush surface. Any excess mulch is left in a neat pile for you to use in garden beds. We also offer complete chip removal for an extra fee if you prefer a fully cleared yard.
